Who can participate?
We welcome local businesses, non-profit groups and religious organizations to participate in what has become a much-loved tradition of community gathering on North Main Street. It is one of the things that makes Mansfield special!
Who comes to this?
We usually see approximately 5000- 10,000 people depending on weather (that's right!) families, singles, couples and teens from Mansfield and surrounding towns. Everyone comes to enjoy food, games, kid's activities, give-aways and music.
What do I have to do to participate?
It's easy!
1.Click on the link above and tell us what you would like to do for the evening and what your business or organization is and where it it located. Given the restrictions of the street space, we limit participants to Mansfield residents or those from immediately surrounding towns with close ties to Mansfield. Be sure and let us know if you have participated before and where you were located. We are trying to keep everyone in essentially the same spots this year.
2. Donate a minimum of $25  by check to :" DBA Parade Fund" at the address below. Be sure to include your organization's name!
3. Keep tabs on this site for information on when to set up and any permits you might need.
4. Come and enjoy a flood of people seeing your business or organization and whatever you have to offer!

Please Note: The Department of Public Health requests that ALL groups or individuals planning to sell food for Family Fun Night contact them for a permit. Anyone selling food without a permit will be shut down. Thank you for your cooperation. You may reach them at the Town Hall.
What does it cost and why?
This is the one 'fund-raiser" that the Downtown Business Association (DBA) holds to raise money to pay for the bands (approximately $5000) that march in our Annual Christmas Parade the Sunday after Thanksgiving-November 29th this year. I'm sure you would agree that without the bands, the parade would not be the same.

We request a minimum of $25 donation to the DBA for your participation in the Family Fun Night. We would appreciate larger donations. All donations will go into the Parade Fund for the Christmas Parade to fund the bands. Donations may be sent to: DBA, c/o Artworks, 263 N. Main St., Mansfield, MA 02048
Do non-profit organizations have to pay? Yes, we ask that all participating groups contribute this small amount of $25 to help pay for the Christmas Parade. Last year we had 90 participants, a majority of them non-profits. When everyone contributes we will raise nearly half of the cost of the parade. See below for benefits of participating.
Benefits
In addition to an opportunity to reach thousands of people in a small amount of time and supporting the Annual Christmas Parade, this year, newspaper and cable announcements about Family Fun Night will direct the community to this website to see listings of registered participants. Those that are registered  and paid by June 27 will also get a free link to their website.
